AHPL Reverts to Limited Lobby and Curbside Service Beginning Wednesday, November 18th.
| As COVID-19 continues to impact local communities, Auburn Hills Public Library is taking steps to help mitigate the spread. Due to recent data from Oakland County Health Division and Michigan Department of Health & Human Services regarding rising cases of COVID-19 in Oakland County and across Michigan, the Library will now only offer limited lobby and curbside service beginning Wednesday, November 18th, until further notice.
Given the increased positivity rate of the virus in Oakland County and knowing cases are rising, we need to find alternatives to continue to offer library services to keep our staff and community safe while meeting our residents' needs.
Library patrons may reserve books, DVDs, games, and more at ahplibrary.org and may choose to pick them up in the lobby or schedule a curbside pickup. Librarians are available to answer questions by phone or email.
Limited Lobby Service:
- Monday - Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm, Friday & Saturday 10 am until 5 pm.
- Building access is limited to Express Pickup & Returns.
- Faxing and scanning.
- Wireless printing pick-up.
Curbside Pickup Service:
- Monday - Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm, Friday & Saturday 11 am to 4 pm.
- Online reservations to schedule hold pick-ups.
- Wireless printing pick-up.
The Library is also open 24/7 online for patrons to borrow eBooks, audiobooks, movies, music, TV shows, and more. To further assist patrons with computer needs, AHPL will continue to lend iPads and hotspots to AHPL cardholders. All other programs remain online.
AHPL has worked hard to develop flexible library programs and services. We appreciate the support and understanding as we move through these challenging times. For more information about Auburn Hills Public Library COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan, visit ahplibrary.org.
